What to Do If the Loan Is Approved but the Money Has Not Arrived?

How Long to Wait Before Taking Action

If the loan is approved but the money has not arrived, there is no need to panic. In most cases, it is enough to wait a little.

Crediting usually takes about 15–30 minutes after the loan process is completed. If the application was submitted at night or on a weekend, possible technical delays on the bank’s side should be taken into account.

Also pay attention to the money crediting timeframe indicated by the lender itself — this information is usually available on the MFO website.

Main Causes of Delay

  • Processing by the issuing bank. The MFO may have already created and sent the payment, but the bank has not yet credited the funds to the card.
  • Nighttime or weekends. Payment infrastructure in Ukraine operates 24/7, but internal processes at some banks can affect processing speed.
  • Error in the details. Check whether the card details are entered correctly and whether the card is active.
  • Technical failure. The lender or bank may experience a temporary crediting delay related to infrastructure overload or maintenance work.

What to Do If the Money Has Not Arrived: Step-by-Step

  1. Check the loan status in your MFO account. See whether it says the funds have already been sent to the card.
  2. Check your bank card. Make sure it is active and its details are correct.
  3. Contact MFO support. Ask them to clarify whether the payment has already been created and sent.
  4. Contact your bank. If the MFO confirms the funds were sent, ask the bank to check the transaction status.
  5. Keep confirmation. Screenshots of the loan status, correspondence with support, and bank notifications may be needed if a dispute arises.

Where to Complain If the Money Disappeared

The first step is to contact MFO support and ask for confirmation of the transaction. If the MFO reports that the payment has been made but the money has not reached the card, contact the bank that services your account.

What should you do if the money has not arrived and the financial institution does not provide transaction confirmation? An electronic credit agreement has the same legal force as a document concluded in written form (Art. 11 of Law of Ukraine No. 675-VIII). Therefore, if the MFO fails to fulfill its obligations under the agreement, you have the right to file a complaint with the National Bank of Ukraine through the regulator’s official website bank.gov.ua/consumer-protection.

Final summary

If the loan is approved but the money has not arrived, first check the card details and give the transaction time for technical processing. If the delay lasts longer than expected, contact the MFO and then the bank. If the issue remains unresolved, you can file a complaint with the NBU.
