How Long Does It Take for Money to Reach the Card After Approval?

How Long Crediting Usually Takes

By law, an electronic credit agreement has full legal force (Law No. 675-VIII, Art. 11), so immediately after signing it, the borrower can already receive the loan funds.

In most cases, the loan is credited to the card within 5–15 minutes.

At the same time, there are several technical stages between approval and the actual crediting of funds, including creating the payment transaction and processing it by the bank. Although money usually arrives within a few minutes after the agreement is concluded, delays can sometimes occur.

What Affects the Speed of Loan Crediting

Several factors affect how quickly the money arrives:

  1. Card-issuing bank — the bank that issued your card. Each bank has its own technical payment-processing procedures, so crediting speed may vary.
  2. Time of day. The electronic payment system in Ukraine operates around the clock, but certain bank procedures may take longer at night.
  3. Load on the payment infrastructure. If a large number of payments are being processed at the same time, transactions may take longer.
  4. Card type. For different cards, the bank may apply different technical verification and processing procedures, which affects crediting time.

Why Money May Take Longer to Arrive

  • Technical verification by the bank. In some cases, the bank may additionally check the payment before crediting the funds, which affects the actual speed of loan disbursement.
  • Nighttime or weekends. Some banks do not process payments outside working hours.

In isolated cases, crediting may take up to 24 hours. If you have not received the transfer within this time, contact the MFO support team or your bank.

FAQ

Will I receive the money instantly?

If there are no technical delays, the funds appear on the card almost immediately. However, it is impossible to guarantee instant receipt of money for every transaction. The average estimated crediting time is 5–15 minutes.

Can I get a loan on a card from any bank?

Yes, online MFOs usually support transfers to a card from any Ukrainian bank.

Do payments arrive faster at night?

Ukraine’s banking infrastructure is designed for round-the-clock operation — the NBU electronic payment system works 24/7. However, a specific bank may have its own processing procedures, so delays are possible at night.

Final summary

Very often, after the application is approved, money reaches the card within a few minutes. However, instant crediting cannot be guaranteed — the exact timeframe depends on the bank.
