Ukrainian service of accepting online payments has international PCI DSS certification. iPay.ua is annually audited by independent international auditing companies, including Sysnet, for confirmation of PCI DSS certification.
What is PCI DSS?
PCI DSS is the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. PCI DSS was developed by Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC). The founder of PCI SSC are international payment systems Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and Discover.
The PCI DSS standard includes 12 requirements for best security of cardholders data. According to the PCI DSS companies must use a firewall between wireless network and their cardholder data environment, use the latest security and authentication and also change default settings for wired privacy keys, and use a network intrusion detection system. Standard`s requirements apply to all companies which work with international payment systems Visa and MasterCard in the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
What does the PCI DSS indicate?
