How iPay.ua the first in Ukraine launched a card-to-card transfer service
iPay.ua is the first PSP provider to launch a card-to-card money transfer service in Ukraine. This is happened in 2011 thanks to a partnership with Alfa-Bank Ukraine (Sense Bank now) and international payment systems Visa and Mastercard.
The service turned out to be innovative for its time. Even 9 years ago, Ukrainian banks did not know how to process this type of transaction, which led to a low percentage of successful transfers. At first they were no more than 26%.
It was not possible to influence the work of all banks in the country (there were more than 170 of them). But we believed that the service "Money transfer from card to card" will be popular. And we need to apply super-efforts to achieve maximum conversion. Our top managers met with employees of banks and processing centers with training technical materials.
Within a month, the percentage of successful operations was just over 50. After another 3 months, the service was operating as usual with the maximum throughput of operations.

How to make transfers faster?
To speed up the transfer from card to card of different banks, register on iPay.ua or pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay e-wallets.
To use the My Cards feature:
- Log in to iPay.ua.
- Go to "My payment cards" - "Connect wallet" and click «Add card».
- Enter its number, expiration date and CVV.
- 1 hryvnia will be temporarily debited from your card and you will receive an SMS with a code to the phone number that is linked to your means of payment.
- Finish adding the card by entering another code from the new sms.

Google Pay is available on Android smartphones and tablets, as well as on any device in Google Chrome, Safari, Opera browsers. The function is available to all Google account holders after adding one or more cards to Google Wallet.
Apple Pay is only compatible with iOS: iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac, both in the app and in browsers like Safari, Chrome, Firefox and more. After registering an account on icloud, add the required number of cards to Apple Wallet.
